How It Works
The math behind the savings
Biomass pellets deliver heat at a much lower cost per kilocalorie. We convert your fuel consumption into the equivalent pellet quantity using calorific values (pellets ~4,100 kcal/kg vs diesel ~9,100 kcal/litre, LPG ~12,000 kcal/kg) adjusted for typical burner efficiency, then compare the monthly bill. Conversion assumptions follow our brochure's equivalence table and can be validated in a trial run at your site.
